Change
We are committed to supporting those who face the greatest challenges in meeting their needs in all Five Domains.
We believe that systems, not people, are broken, so supporting change in peoples’ lives requires changing systems.
There are a number of highly effective organizations scattered across the country that are changing the trajectories of the most marginalized individuals, families and communities. The Full Frame Initiative has identified a set of principles and practices shared by these organizations. We call this the Full Frame Approach. Its practice creates positive change in the Five Domains for individuals, families and communities.
For systems to change on a broad scale, service practitioners, policy makers, funders and allies must join with marginalized individuals, families and communities in a shared responsibility.
The Full Frame Initiative drives systems change in partnership with:
- Practitioners and organizations that are enabling lasting positive change in communities facing multiple challenges;
- Policy makers and funders that are working to incentivize these human service practices that achieve better results;
- Allies from research, media and other fields who are documenting, studying and disseminating information about what works when systems and services practice a Full Frame Approach and support positive change in the Five Domains; and
- People and communities who are advocating for services that reflect and respond to the complex reality of their lives.
As a movement, we all continue to surface and support “what works”, in order to change revolving door services into springboards for thriving individuals, families and communities.
In this context, the Full Frame Initiative’s strategy for systems change is three-fold:
