In response to a recent piece in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, by Bill Shore, Darell Hammond, and Amy Celep (When Good is Not Good Enough), calling on nonprofits to embrace “big solutions to big problems”, the authors respond on the necessity of recognizing complexity if we’re ever going to actually make headway on big problems, and the reality that nonprofits are necessary– but not sufficient.
