FFI’s CEO Katya Fels Smyth provides an overview of the Wellbeing Insights, Assets & Tradeoffs Tool (WIATT). WIATT is designed for use when there is a significant public good project that will be undertaken, such as the extension of a public transit line. It illuminates how an infrastructure of built environment project will impact access to wellbeing for different constituencies, so that plans can be adjusted and improved.
This tool offers a set of questions related to tradeoffs and the Five Domains of Wellbeing that you can use as a “check engine light” for you and your work.
